Diamond Rugs Record Live In Studio Session with KEXP
Capping off our week long run of live broadcasts with KEXP radio, rock and roll motley crew Diamond Rugs stopped by for a live in-studio recording session – complete with harmonica riffs and destroyed denim. The boys – composed of members from Deer Tick, Los Lobos, Dead Confederate, Black Lips and Six Finger Satellite – played jams off of their self-titled debut album, released in April of this year with Partisan Records, before playing Central Park’s Summerstage and The Late Show with David Letterman over the weekend. Check out some photos of the sessions below, courtesy of in-house photographer Lauren Slusher, and be sure to visit kexp.org to find a recording of the live in studio session, or stream the recording from iTunes, under Eclectic!
