Naturally, music video production was the obvious choice. His career begins at MTV Networks followed shortly after by Grammy-nominated Three on the Tree Productions. It is at “3 Tree” that Louis edits work for artists such as Tom Waits, Velvet Revolver, Alice Cooper, Jesse Malin w/ Bruce Springsteen, Chris Thile, Old Crow Medicine Show. He also contributes his post-production skills for such acts as Pearl Jam, Chris Daughtry, Melissa Etheridge and the Foo Fighters. In the summer of ’07 he starts his own Independent outfit called, “Electric Tweed Productions.” Sparre’s work as a director is characterized by a strong sense of color, classical shot composition, time manipulation and an editing style which strives to be rhythmic but not overbearing.
